Project Development
From siting a new home to developing a floor plan, CBID offers a full and complete range of design services either working on existing interiors, renovations or new home construction. Listening to her clients’ needs and wishes, gathering ideas, and organizing these ideas into plans, Cicely works tirelessly to develop a project to her clients specifications and to create unique and well thought out homes.
Architectural Review and Planning
CBID specializes in architectural review either working with an architect, a design/build firm or the home owner. Cicely is very hands on in all aspects of the architectural design process, from reviewing and developing floors plans to specifying each hinge and knob on a project.
Project Administration
Cicely takes a very hands on approach to her projects. Attending many on-site meetings, working hand in hand with the architects, project developers, contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.
Interior Design
CBID offers all aspects of the interior design development process including: Custom Kitchen, Bath, Home Office and Home Theater Design, Electrical design and layouts,Plumbing design and specification, Tile and floor design and layout, Furniture layouts and design, all designs are documented with floors plans, drawings, design boards and schedules.
Space Planning
A true believer in that form follows function, Cicely's main goal is to make sure the spaces she designs work, live, and flow as well as they look. Knowing that spaces need to relate and be on a human scale, CBID works with the architecture as a whole, always keeping in mind how the space will be used. Through a thorough client interview, Cicely listens to her clients to understand their lifestyles. She will then make sure the interiors support their needs and dreams.
Additional Services
Additional services include furniture procurement and installation, either purchasing from one of our 500 1200 home furnishings accounts or from a resource of our client’s choice.
CBID has 5 of our own workrooms to offer custom window treatments, bedding and reupholstery.
CBID also offers resourcing for art, accessories and antiques.
